Saint Augustine College Joins a Roundtable Discussion with the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities hosted a February 23, 2023 roundtable at its Washington, D.C. office. The Roundtable brought together higher education leaders and officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including Dr. Reyes González to represent St. Augustine, to discuss Department priorities related to Hispanic-Serving Institutions. HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores, HSI presidents/chancellors, an emerging HSI president, senior leadership, and government relations staff were present at the roundtable discussion led by the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas.
St. Augustine College was honored to participate in this roundtable discussion in our ongoing pursuit of the betterment of our students in and out of the classroom, making sure we can provide an education that works with their lives.
