Dr. German Criollo is a dedicated educator, healthcare professional, and community advocate
with extensive experience in Exercise Physiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Health
Education. Currently serving as a Professor at Lewis University, he brings a wealth of
knowledge from over 25 years of teaching at St. Augustine College, where he has played a
pivotal role in the Natural Science and Health Department.

As the Founder of Salvavidas CPR, Dr. Criollo has spent nearly a decade enhancing
community health by providing American Heart Association-certified CPR/AED training.
His bilingual capabilities have expanded the program’s reach, ensuring lifesaving education is
accessible to a broader audience.

His longstanding tenure at City Colleges of Chicago as a Lecturer and Health Services
Advisory Member further underscores his commitment to advancing public health and
emergency preparedness. With a passion for bridging academic instruction and hands-on
healthcare training, Dr. Criollo empowers individuals and communities with the knowledge
